TECHNICAL DETAILS
Each of our sit-stand desk models incorporates the FLIPSYSTEM.
Why and how?
A little ergonomic common sense and behavioural studies have taught us that the position of your monitor should not be the same depending on whether you’re sitting or standing.
In a standing position:
on the other hand, to keep your gaze in the upper 1/3 of your monitor without hurting your neck your monitor must be located lower down. (And yes, in a natural standing position, when you walk down the street for example, your gaze is directed downwards and not upwards – CQFD).
In Seated Position:
Your screen should be slightly elevated so that your gaze falls in the upper third of the screen – this will encourage you to sit up straight and adopt a good back posture.
Not envisioning mobility dependent on a power source (remember, energy is our future…let’s save it!),
we developed the FLIPSYSTEM, a simple and intuitive mechanical system (NO ELECTRICITY), which allows you to simultaneously move the two work surfaces (but in opposite directions) to adjust the height of your work surface and screen in a single motion.
You can therefore change positions instantly, without waiting long seconds for a noisy electric motor to reach the desired height.
Sometimes referred to as LOW TECH, our mechanical height adjustment system consists of:
– 2 Gas springs that gently assist height adjustment and ensure the locking of the mechanism.
– 2 Activation paddles placed under the front surface.
– 2 Synchronization bars to link and reverse the movement of each surface.
Our reliable and silent mechanical height adjustment system will guarantee you many years of peace of mind, that’s for sure!

– Height adjustment range from +15/-15 cm to +18/-18 cm (depending on the model) from a reference height (surfaces flat)

Pilot position

The happy hour position
Flipboards are shared, and the biggest decisions are made at the end of the evening.
Positions: it’s up to you… trays adjustable to the stature of your sidekicks.
